Cookies amb gelat

Diumenge passat vaig preparar unes cookies amb xips de xocolata, la recepta la podeu trobar aquí, només vaig fer la meitat de la massa, fa molta calor per fer tantes fornades de galetes!
Last sunday I prepared some chocolate xips cookies, you can find the recipe here, but I only made a half of the dought, it's to hot to bake a lot of cookies!

A mitja tarda ens va agafar la gana i vam fer uns sandwinch de cookies amb gelat. Com veure a la recepta jo no deixo que les galetes es torrin massa així estan daurades per fora i tovetes per dins i són perfectes per preparar-les amb el gelat. El gelat que teniem a casa era de strawberry cheese cake i va quedar boníssim. Però segur que amb altres gustos queda igual de bo.
At mid afternoon we were hungry and we made some cookies and ice cream sandwiches. In the recipe I told that I don't let that they toast a lot so when they have a gold color the inside is soft and in this way they are perfect to eat with ice cream. We had strawberry cheesecake ice cream at home and the combination was amazing. And I'm sure that with any flavor it'll be ok.

Espero que us agradi, és una recepta fàcil i minimament ràpida i si ho feu com a postre després d'un sopar amb amics segur que quedeu de conya!

Ja tenim a la botiga la col·lecció d'estiu de Béhulah. Aquesta termporada aposten per les flors, els quadradets vichy, els vaixells i les formes geomètriques, estampats per tots els gustos!

La Nuit Boutique

Ja fa tres temporades que comptem amb les col·leccions de La Nuit Boutique a la botiga i encara no li haviem dedicat una entrada com cal!
That's the third season we have La Nuit Boutique in the shop and we haven't dedicate it a post!

 Darrere de la marca hi ha la Verónica Ropero que en 3 anys ha passat de donar la primera classe de costura a crear els seus propis dissenys. Tot comença quan la mare d'una amiga va ensenyar-li a confeccionar la seva propia roba, després la venda entres amigues i poc a poc la presència en reds socials, showrooms, fires i botigues.
Behind the brand there's Verónica Ropero who in 3 years has shiffed from make the first sewing class to create her own desings. All starts when her friend mother's taught her to make her own clothes, after the sales betwen friends and slowly the presence in social networks, showrooms, fairs and shops.

El nom de la marca, La Nuit Boutique, surt de treballar per les nits després de la jornada laboral. La Vero i la Raquel, amb qui va començar aquesta aventura, tancaven comandes, actualitzaven la web... quan el sol ja s'havia amagat. Poc a poc hi dedicaven més hores i rebien més comandes, la Raquel ho va deixar per dedicar-se al que realment li agradava, però va insistir perquè la Vero continues amb aquest projecte. Amb una sola persona i la feina que entrava va decidir contactar amb un taller local per confeccionar les peces.
The name of the brad, La Nuit Boutique, came from work at night after the working hours. Vero and Raquel, with who started this adventure, close orders, update the web... when the sun had hidden. Slowly they dedicated more hours and had more ordes, Raquel gave up the project to make what she really loves, but she insisted that Vero had to continue. Whit only one person and all the work that came she decided to contact with a local workshop to produce her desings.

A l'hora de dissenyar no segueix les tendències al peu de la lletra, les utilitza per inspirar-se, és molt detallista i observadora així que també s'inspira en el que veu pel carrer, quan viatja i sobretot quan busca teixits, aquí és quan tot el que ha vist comença a agafar forma.

Les seves col·leccions són exclusives, ja que fa poques unitats de cada model, però a un preu molt competitiu. I tots els seus proveïdors són locals.
When it's time to desing she doesn't follow the trends but she uses them to inspire, she is very detailed and observant so also she gets the inspiration in the street or when she travels and especially when she buys the fabrics, here is when all that she saw starts to have shape.
Her collections are exclusives, she makes a few units of each model, but a competitive price. And she works with local suppliers.

Per la col·lecció d'aquesta temporada tenia clar que volia color i estampats, diu que l'hivern és molt musti. I té tota la raó, per això trobem flors, ratlles, gavines, estrelles... Estampats per tots els gustos!

DIY: pentinat vintage

M'agraden molt els recollits, ja siguin monyos, trenes, cues... Però tenir la melena curta no ajuda gaire així que quan veig algun pentinat que es pot fer amb aquesta mida no ho penso gens i l'intento fer, sempre que sigui fàcil perquè normalment sóc un desastre. Fa molts dies que veig a moltes noies amb un pentinat, porten una cinta i tota la melena cap dins, així que al final vaig decidir buscar un tutorial per saber realment com es feia i el primer que vaig veure va ser el del blog de la Lana Red.

I love hairstyles, bunds, braids, ponytails... But to have a short hair is unhelpfull so when I saw some hairstyle that I can do with this size I don't think a lot and I try to do it, it has to be easy because normally I'm a disaster. On the last days I saw many girls with the same hairstyle, they wear a headband and all the hair inside, so finally I decided to look for a tutorial to know how it's made and the first that I found was in the blog Lana Red.

Només necessiteu una cinta elàstica i jo li afegeixo 3 clips perquè el cabell no s'escapi. Aquestes són les fotos del tutorial de la Lana Red, s'enten, no? Col·loquem la cinta al cap, i anem col·locan "mechons" de cabell dins de la cinta.

You just need a elastic headband and I add 3 hairpins, if not my hair escape. These are the photos from Lana Red, is understood, rigth? Put the headband on the head and we have to put all the hair inside the headband.

Des de que el vaig fer per primera vegada no he para de fer-me'l, és molt fàcil i en dos minuts està fet. Ara només em falta trobar una cinta tan bonica com la que porta ella.
Since I did it at the first time i don't stop to do it, is very easy and in two minutes is done. Now I just need to find some headband as nice as the one that she wears.

Mini vacances

Diumenge, després del taller, vam marxar cap a la costa brava a passar tres dies sense fer res, sense telèfon, tele i conexió a internet. Han estat tres dies de relax, on hem pres el sol i caminat molt.

Sunday, after the workshop, we went to la costa brava to spend three days without doing anything, without cellphone, tv and internet. There were three relax days, we sunbathed and walked a lot.

Vam anar a l'hotel de Cala Jóncols i aquestes eren les vistes des de l'habitació. I la platja era tota per nosaltres, no hi havia massa gent.
We went to Cala Jóncols hotel and these were the views from our room. And the beach was just for us, there wasn't a lot of people.

Com el segon dia estava núbol el vam passar a Cadaqués.
The second day was cloudy so we went to Cadaqués.




Les vistes per arribar a la cala eren precioses, mar, muntanya i també alguna vaca.
The views before arrive to the cala were amazing, sea and mountain and also some cows.

I abans de marxar vam fer una parada a Figueres.
Before going back one stop at Figueres.

Costura!

Ahir, dia de costura, el vaig aprofitar per fer una faldilla, i aquesta vegada no és circular! És com la primera que vaig fer farà un any i mig, la podeu veure aquí i aquí, i que no he parat de portar hivern i estiu. També és el model que vaig fer per la botiga i que es va vendre tan bé, i que la setmana que ve tornaré a fer però per la botiga.

Yesterday, sewing day, I made a skirt, and this time it's not a circular one! It's like the first one that I made one year and a half ago, you can see it here and here, I used it a lot in winter and summer. Also it's the same model that I made last year for the shop and next week I'm going to make more.

Us en voleu fer una? Per aquest model  no cal patró, són 3 rectangles, dos per la faldilla i un per la cintura. Si la faldilla us agrada amb molt de vol necessitareu que l'ample sigui d'uns 90cm-1m. I per la cintura uns 3-4cm més del que fa la vostra cintura. Abans de cosir les dues parts de la faldilla les heu de fruncir per la part de dalt i cosir-la. Després ja podeu ajuntar les dues peces, deixant en un dels costats un tros sense cosir per poder posar la cremallera. Un cop cosit això ja podeu cosir la part de la cintura i si voleu li podeu cosir un botó i fer-li una presilla. I faldilla feta!

Do you want to make one? You don't need a pattern for this model, just 3 rectangles, two for the skirt and one for the waist. You need two rectangles about 90cm-1m for the skirt and for the waist 3-4cm more than your waist. Before sewing the skirt you have to gather both pieces and then sew the gathering. Then you can sew the skirt, leaving a part for the zip. When you have this sewed you can add the waist and skirt done!

Fa uns dilluns vaig fer una samarreta amb un retall d'encaix que vaig trobar a Ribes i Casals tirat de preu. És ampleta i de màniga curta, feta en dues peces.

Some mondays ago I made this t-shirt wiht a piece of lace that I found in a shop for a few euros. It's a little bit wide and has short sleeves, it's made wiht two pieces.

Un dia faré un DIY de la faldilla però ben fet.

Some day I'm going to do a better DIY for the skirt.

Pepa Loves - estiu'13

Ahir ens va arribar la col·lecció d'estiu de Pepa Loves. Veient les noves peces entren ganes d'estiu, caloreta, platja, terrassetes...

Hi tobem estampats molt mariners com les ratlles, les àncores i els vaixells. També hi ha estampats de flors que sempre alegren un look. I el que més m'agrada vestits i samarretes amb escot a l'esquena.

Béhulah

Béhula és una altra de les marques que formarà part de la botiga aquesta temporada. És defineixen com un estil diferent, jove i desenfadat.

A la col·lecció hi trobem camises botonades a l'esquena, vestits amb estampats de flors, topitos i ètnics i amb escots a l'esquena.

Béhulah is another brand wich will form part of the shop this season. They are definied as a different, young and casual brand.

In the collection we can find back buttoned shirts, flowers, dots and etnic print dresses with backless.

La Nuit Boutique

Per aquesta temporada comptem amb la col·lecció Printemps de La Nuit Boutique. Darrere la marca hi ha la Veronica una noia que crea moda jove, versàtil i exclusiva. Tant el disseny com la producció es fan a Barcelona, per això de cada peça hi ha poques unitats i és on es marca la diferència i la exclusivitat.

For this season we have the Printemps collection by La Nuit Boutique. Behind the brand there is Verónica, a girl who makes young, versatile and exclusive fashion. Both, the desing and the production are made in Barcelona, so for each cloth there are few units and this is what makes the difference and the exclusivity.

Ja fa uns dies que tenim la col·lecció d'estiu de Kling a El Calaix. Per aquesta temporada s'han decantat per siluetes dels anys 50 i 60. Trobem robes plisades i volum en vestits i faldilles. Els colors són suaus i romàntics i en estampats trobem cors, ratlles i flors. Tot amb un estil molt vintage.

Some days ago arrived at El Calaix the new Kling's summer colecction. For this season they made 50's and 60's silhouettes. They used pleated fabrics and volume for dresses and skirts. The colours are soft and romantics and the prints are hearts, stripes and flowers. All with a vintage style.

Un top de ganxet

Per setmana santa vaig començar a fer un top de ganxet, el podeu veure aquí, i ja esta acabat. El ganxet és molt més ràpid de treballar que la mitja, si només hagues fet el top l'hauria acabat en un parell de dies però com tinc mil projectes començats sempre va per llarg que acabi una peça. Com és molt calat li vull fer un forro i com de moment no me'l puc possar (no fa massa calor i estic molt blanca per aquest color) tinc temps per fer-lo.

During the easter I started a crocheted top, you can see it here, and now it's finished. Crochet is faster than knit, if I only crochet the top I had finished in two days but I have a thousand of projects started. As it's so draft I want to sew a lining but as at the moment I can't wear it (the weather it's not so warm and I need some sunbath) I have time to do it.
