Aquest mes també hem fet dos tallers, el primer va ser el diumenge 16 i van venir la Isa, l'Elena, la Pilar, la Vanessa i la Roser. Totes van fer ganxet menys la Isa que es va atrevir amb els mitjons a quatre agulles.
This month we made two workshops, the first one was on sunday 16th and it came Isa, Elena, Pilar, Vanessa and Roser. All of them crocheted less Isa who dared to knit a socks with four needles.
A la Isa no li va costar gaire agafar el truquillo de les cuatre agulles i va poder avançar bastant el mitjó. L'Elena va venir per avançar un orejón que va començar fa uns mesos en un dels tallers.
Isa took the trick very fast with the four needles and she was able to advance fairly the sock. Elena came to crochet a bunny that she started some months ago in one of our workshops.
La Vanessa feia dies que volia fer una manta de zigzag i al final la va poder començar. Com la vol per ella va haver de fer moltes cadenetes per que fes la mida perfecte per tapar-se.
Vanessa wanted to make a zigzag blancket for a long time and finally she could start it. She want it for her so she had to chain a lot before start to have the perfect size.
De moment l'ha començat en color rosa fosc i gris.
For now she did it in dark pink and grey.
La Pilar va venir per fer jersei, però és va deixar el patró a casa i nosaltres també teniem el llibre a casa. Però portava el patró d'un tapete que no enteia gaire i la vam ajudar a fer-lo.
Pilar came to knit her jersey but she forgot the pattern at home and we had the book also at home. But she brought a doily pattern that she didn't understand much and we helped her.
La Roser va fer un puff en color mostassa i verd. Com ja sabia fer ganxet gairebé el va acabar, només van faltar dos o tres passades per tancar-lo.
Roser made a puff in mustard and green colour. She knew how to crochet so she almost finish it, she just had to make two or three rows to finish it.
I aquest diumenge també hem tingut taller. Van venir la Dionisa, la Trini i la Eli i totes van fer mitja.
And this sunday also we made a workshop. It came Dionisa, Trni and Eli, and all of them knit.
Per la Eli era la primera vegada que feia un taller amb nosaltres i va començar per la mitja. Ens va comentar que n'havia fet fa temps però poqueta estona i que no s'enrecordava massa, així que vam començar muntant punts, punt del dret, revés i així unes quantes vegades fins que va començar la bufanda.
For Eli was the first time doing a workshop with us and she started knitting. She told us that she knitted some time ago but for a short time so she didn't forget much, so we started casting stitches, knit, purl until she started a scarf.
La Dionisia va voler fe una cinta pel cap i li vam preparar tres patrons, un de ganxet i dos de mitja. Els de mitja eren més xulus així que va començar pe aquests. Ja havia fet mitja però feia molts anys que no ho probava i deu ser com anar amb bici perquè no va fer falta que li expliquesim gairebé res, només com muntar els punts a l'agulla que ens va explicar que això li donaven fet.
Dionisia wanted to make a headband and we prepared her three patterns, a crocheted one and two knitted. The knitted ones were cooler so she started for those. She knew how to knit but for many years she didn't practice it, but I think this is like riding a bike we never forget how to do it, because she didn't need any explanation, just for how to cast the stitches on the needle, she told us that this part always gave her done.
En va poder acabar una i va començar la segona de mitja.
She could finish one and she started the second one.
La Trini ens va demanar si la podiem ajudar a fer un coll una mica diferent al que veiem normalment. Concretament volia fer el de la pel·licula "Los juegos del hambre", el que porta la protagonista. Ella ens va passar un parell de patrons però al final en vam trobar un que és una versió una mica més senzilla de fer. El que vam trobar nosaltrse el podeu veure aquí.
Trini asked us if we could help her to make a different cowl. Specifically she wanted the one that wear the main character on the film "Hunger games". She gave us couple of patterns, but finally we found an easy one. You can see the one we found here.
El patró és bastant entretingut, que si un punt del dret, dos del reves, un augment aquí i un altre allà... Però va poder fer un tros i fer-se una idea de com anava.
The pattern is quite entertaining, one knit stitch, two purl stitches, one incrise here and other one there... But she could knit a piece and had an idea of the pattern.
I fins aquí els tallers d'aquest mes, ara ens toca pensar en noves dates pel mes que vé i segurament farem un nou taller de feltre!
And that's our february workshops, now we have to think in new dates for the next month, and maybe we make a new one with felt!
