DIY: Caixa o estanteria?

En principi volia fer un DIY cada setmana però crec que serà millor cada dues, així tinc més temps per preparar-lo. Aquí va el segon, convertir una caixa de fruita en una estanteria.

At firts I wanted to do the DIY once a week but I thing that's better to do it every two weeks, so I have more time to prepare it. This is the second, how to remake  a fruit box on a shelf.

El material que necessitem és: - The material you need is:

- Caixes de fruita (jo he escollit les de maduixes i cireres, són més petites) 

- Fruit boxes (I've chosen strawberries and cherries boxes, they're smaller )

- Cola blanca - Glue

- Regla - Rule

- Tisores - Scissors

- Llapis - Pencil

- Martell - Hammer

- "Cancamos" - Eyebolts

- Paper pintat - Wallpaper

1. Mesurem la base de la caixa per tallar el paper a mida.

1. Measure the base of the box to cut the paper size.

2. Dibuixem la base al paper pintat, com la caixa no es cuadrada hem de tenir en compte de dibuixar les cantonades.

2. Draw the base on the wallpaper, how the box isn't square, we've had to consider to drawing the corners.

3. Un cop tallat el paper el col·loquem dins la caixa per veure si encaixa, si hem pres be les mides ha de cuadrar a la primera. Si en sobra una mica ho podem tallar amb un cuter.

3. Once the paper is cut, put it inside the box to see if it fits, if we measured well, it has to fit at first time. If the paper is in excess we can cut whit a cutter.

4. Col·loquem cola blanca per la base de la caixa i l'extenem perquè no quedin "pegotes". Primer col·loquem una part del paper i a poc a poc l'estirem perquè no quedin bombolles.

4. Put white glue on the box base and extend so we don't have gobs. First put one part and slowly stretch to avoid bubbles.

5. Ja tenim la caixa folrada!! Si el paper és fi (com el que he utilitzat) és possible que traspassi, però un cop sec no es nota.

5. The box is lined!! If the paper is fine (like mine) it's possible that it transfers, but when it's dry you wont notice it.

6. Les podriem deixar així i posar-les sobre d'una estanteria o taula, però la gràcia és utilitzar-les com a estanteria de pared. Així que hem de decidir com les volem a la pared. Jo les vull dues horitzontals i una vertical.

6. We can leave them that way and put them on a shelf or a table, but the funny thing it's use them like a wall shelf. So we have to decide how we want them on the wall. I want two horizontal and one vertical.

7. Un cop decidida la orientació és hora de clavar els "cancamos".

7. When we have the orientation decided it's time to nail the eyebolts. 

I ja la tenim! Estanteria ràpida de fer i barateta. Un altre opció és pintar les caixes, però a mi m'agradaven tal qual amb els logos originals de cireres i maduixes.

And we have it! A shelf fast to do it and cheap. Another option is paint the boxes, but I like it whit the originals strawberries and cherreis logos.
