Taller ganxet gener'13

Diumenge vam fer el segon taller, aquesta vegada de ganxet. Van venir la Laura, la Judith i l'Alba, que mai havien fet ganxet, la Maria Rosa, la Marta i la Pilar. Totes van fer amigurumis, tot pollets i una pera, menys la Pilar que va provar amb el ganxet XL.

Sunday morning we made the second workshop, this time crochet. It came Laura, Judith and Alba, they've never crocheted before, Maria Rosa, Marta and Pilar. All made amigurumis, little chicks and one pear, less Pilar that she tried to make XL crochet.

Les noies que mai havien fet ganxet van començar fent cadeneta i punt baix, per agafar soltura aganfant l'agulla. I quan ja tenien el truquillo van començar els seus amigurumis. 

The girls who never crocheted started making chains and simple crochet to take ease with the crochet hook. When they had it they started with their amigurumis.

La Pilar, que ja havia fet un parell de tallers amb nosaltes, va fer un cistell de trapillo i li vam ensenyar com fer el punt per fer-li base.

Pilar, who made a couple of workshops with us, made a XL crocheted basket and we taught her how to make a base for the basket.

I com el va acabar en va començar un altre més petit. La Maria Rosa i la Marta, que ja havien fet ganxet abans van començar pel pollet.

She finished so fast so she could crochet another one smaller. Maria Rosa and Marta, who had crocheted before started wiht the little chick.

La Maria Rosa el va poder acabar i li va quedar super bé!

La Marta va estar a punt d'acabar-lo, però li van faltar les ales.

Marta almost finished her amigurumi, but she didn't have time to finish the wings.

Les noies que començaven a fer ganxet per primera vegada no van poder acabar l'amigurumi. Però se'l van empotar a mitges així que esperem fotos quan l'hagin acabat.

Girls who started crochet for first time couldn't finish their amigurumis. But they took them started so we wait for photos when they finish.

I per esmorzar madalenes amb mantega de cacahuet i xips de xocolata. Com l'altre vegada vaig fer la massa de sempre i li vaig afegir una cullerada de mantega de cacahuet, com no era crunchy vaig picar un grapat petit de cacahuets i també els vaig afegir. I de xips de xocolata en vaig posar un parell de grapats.

For breakfast I prepared peanut butter and chocolate xips muffins. As the other day I made the same dought and I added one peanut butter spoon, as it wasn't crunchy I chopped a small handful peanuts and also I added a pair of handful chocolate xips.

I ara a preparar el taller del diumenge 3, he de fer un caragol per una de les noies que vindrà a veure que surt. Aah! i encara queden places.

And now I'm going to prepare the next workshop on sunday 3, I have to crochet a snail for one of the girls that is coming.

DIY: bufanda de ganxet

Fa molts dies que no preparava una entrada de DIY i avui ja toca. Així que amb el fred que està fent aquests dies res millor que una bufanda de ganxet. És molt fàcil de fer però molt resultona, sembla punt de canalé. Aquesta la vaig fer per reis, per regalar-li al meu sogre.

It's been a lot of days wihtout a DIY post so today I prepared one. With this cold weather nothing better than a crocheted scarf. It's so easy to crochet but with a good result, it seems rib stitch. I made this one for Three Kings and I gave it to my father-in-law.

Vaig utilitzar llana Marathon de katia en color gris xispejat i un ganxet del nº5.

I used Marathon's yarn from katia in color grey and a crochet hook nº 5.

Fa 1,50m més o menys. Per aquesta mida vaig necessitar unes 200 cadenetes, no sé exactament les que vaig posar perquè ho vaig fer a ull. Però si la voleu més llarga haureu de posar més cadenetes.

It's about 1,50m, more or less. For this size I need about 200 chains, I don't know how many I did, but if you want it longer you have to make more chains.

Un cop tenim la mida amb totes les cadenetes fetes n'hem de fer 3 més, simularà el primer punt alt. Comencem a treballar a la cuarta cadeneta des del ganxet i fem totes les cadenetes en punt alt.

When we have the size with all the chains we have to make 3 more, these simulate the first double crochet. We start crocheting in the 4th chain from the hook and we crochet all the chains in double crochet.

Quan acabem la primera passada fem 3 cadenetes per donar la volta.

When we finish the firts row we make 3 chains to turn.

Perquè sembli punt de canalé no hem de treballar tot el punt, hem d'agafar el punt de darrere.

To make this rib stitch we don't have to work all the stitch, we have to crochet the back loop.

I ara, fent tota l'estona el mateix punt alt i les 3 cadenetes al començar la passada, fem tantes passades com ample la volguem. Crec que jo en vaig fer unes 10.
Now, doing all the time the same double crochet and the 3 chains when start a row, crochet many rows as the width we want. I think that I crocheted about 10.

Tallers febrer

Ja tenim les dates pels tallers de febrer.

Comencem el diumenge 3 amb un taller de ganxet per carnaval. Aprendreu a fer corones, bigotis, antifaços... Perfecte si ho celebreu a casa amb els amics, podeu fer un parell de peces per cada un i així aneu tots disferessats. El preu són 35€ i l'horari és de 10h a 14h.

L'altre el farem el diumenge 24. En aquest podeu escollir que fer entre mitja i ganxet. Si us decidiu pel taller de mitja i mai n'heu fet començarem per principiants nivell 1, aprendreu a muntar punts, punt del dret i del reves i com combinar-los i podreu començar una bufanda. Si lo bàsic ja ho sabeu fer anem a per principiants nivell 2, aprendreu a augmentar i disminuir, canviar de color i com fer trenes. Però si tot això ja ho sabeu i hi ha alguna cosa en concret que vulgueu aprendre ens ho feu saber i ens ho mirem, també podrieu començar un jersei de bebé. El preu són 42€ i l'horari és de 10h a 14h.

Al taller de ganxet podeu escollir, amigurumi, grannies, flors, necesser, gorro... el que vulgueu. El preu són 35€ i l'horari de 10h a 14h. També podeu fer ganxet XL i escollir entre un gerro, un bolso, un cistell... El preu són 32€ i l'horari és d'11h a 14h.

Tot el material i l'esmorzar estan inclosos en el preu.

Taller agulla circular i ganxet

Diumenge vam fer el primer taller de l'any i amb dues baixes d'última hora vam ser 4. Com podien escollir que fer, vam tenir meitat i meitat. Dues, la Isa i la Rachel, van començar un coll amb agulla circular i la Yael i la Victoria van fer ganxet, grannies i amigurumi.

Sunday morning we made the first workshop of the year and with two last minute cancellations we were 4. They could choose what to do, so we had half and half. Two, Isa and Rachel, started with circular needles doing a cowl and Yael and Victoria crocheted grannies and an amigurumi owl.

La Rachel era la primera vegada que feia mitja, així que li vam ensenyar a muntar punts, punt del dret i del reves. Després a desfer-ho tot i tornar a començar, però ja en serio per fer el coll que serà de canalé 2x2.

For Rachel was the first time knitting, so we taugth her how to cast on the stitches in the needle, knit stitch and purl stitch. After she had to undo it and started again, but this time to start the cowl in rib stitch.

A la Isa, que ja havia fet dos tallers de mitja amb nosaltres, li vam donar un patró una mica més difícil amb canvi de color i punt d'abella.

We gave Isa, who had made two knitt workshops with us, a pattern a little bit more difficult with a color change and bee stitch.

Aquesta vegada la Yael va voler aprendre a fer grannies. Li vam preparar 4 models diferents, dos que són els típics, un amb punt bombolla i l'altre que es comença en quadrat. Com va fer els 4 començarà una manta en colors gris, lila i rosa.

This time Yael wanted to learn to crochet grannies. We prepared 4 differents models, two are the tipycal, one with bubble stitch and the last one started in square. She made the 4 models so she decided to crochet a blancket in grey, purple and pink colors.

I la Victoria, era la primera vegada que venia, va fer un mussol amigurumi que li va quedar super be.

And Victora, it was the first time that she came, crocheted an amigurumi owl, she did it so good.

I va ser l'única a la que li vaig fer foto a la labor acabada.
And it was the unique photo that I took of a finish job.

I per esmorzar madalenes de poma. Vaig provar una recepta nova i van quedar fatal, no es podien menjar, així que vaig recòrrer a la recepta de sempre, la podeu veure aquí, i en lloc de posar-hi una culleradeta de vainilla li vaig posar de canyella i també vaig afegir mitja poma ratllada, la pròxima vegada provaré amb una sencera. Pel topping vaig fer mitja poma a cuadradets, la vaig barrejar amb una cullerada de sucre moreno i una culleradeta de canyella i uns 20 minuts al forn.
For breakfast I prepared apple muffins. I tried to bake a new receip but it was horrible, we coudn't eat them, so I baked the receipt that I used a lot, you can see it here. I change the vanilla teaspoon for one cinamon teaspoon and also I added half grated apple, next time I'll try with a whole one. For the topping I used a half diced apple, I mixed it with one brown sugar spoon and one cinamon teaspoon and then 20 minutes in the oven.

I ara a preparar el material pel taller del diumenge 27 i pensar que faré per esmorzar!

And now I'm going to prepare the material for the next workshop on sunday 27 and think what I'm going to bake for breakfast!

The Attic. Art Gallery and Antiques

Com vaig dir fa uns dies avui us parlaré de la galeria d'art i antiguitats de la Silvia, The Attic.

As I told some days ago today I'm going to write about Silvia's Art Gallery and Antiques, The Attic.

Vaig conèixer a la Silvia farà cosa d'un any, un matí qualsevol va entrar a la botiga i vam estar parlant un rato em va explicar que tenia una galeria d'art i antiguitats al carrer del costat i que havia obert un any abans que jo i que la cosa estava xunga, i ho contina estant, però vam arribar a la conclusió que a vegades ens hem de guiar pel que volem fer i el que hagi de passar passarà.

I met Silvia one year ago, one morning she came into the shop and we were talking. She explained me that she had an art gallery and antiques close to my shop and it was opened one year before mine. We spoke about this time it was weird, and now it still remain, but we had a conclusion, some times we have to guide for the things that we want to do and what has to happen will happen.

La Silvia és una artista amb totes les lletres. Ella és fotògrafa.

Silvia is an artist. She is photographer.

Aquesta obra la tenim al menjador de casa, feia temps que buscavem un quadre i al final em vam trobar.

This picture is in our diningroom, we were looking for a long time a picture and finally we found it.

Aquest va ser el primer, després van venir les miniatures, una per mi pel meu cumple i un altre per ma germana per reis.

I que dir dels mobles antics, tots amb una historia darrere, però molt ben cuidats i es que ella personalment els escull i repara si es necessari.

And what to say about the antiques, all with a story behind, but so well kept. She personally chooses them and repairs them if it's necessary.

A l'estiu es va atrevir a fer els seu propi model i va durar molt poquet a la botiga.

On summer she made her own lamp model and it was sold so fast.

Quan compres a la galeria no et donen una bossa de plàstic o de paper, no no, ella s'ho curra molt i fa bosses de roba.

When you buy something she doesn't give you a plastic or paper bag, no no, she makes a beautiful fabric bags.

I paro ja, perquè no pararia de penjar fotos de coses xules. Així que ja sabeu si esteu pel Born no podeu deixar passar l'opurtunitat de conèixer la Silvia i la seva galeria. La trobareu al c. Al maig de l'any passat ens van dedicar un post a Los 30 fantásticos, el podeu veure aquí i fa un parell de dies la Silvia, qui escriu les entrades, em va enviar un missatge dient que el nostre post ha estat el 10é, de 258 post publicats, més llegit de 2012, i això mola molt!

I des d'ahir ja podeu veure el video que va fer Catacraft de la 3a edició de La Fábrica Singular, jo surto un moment durant el taller d'amigurumi que vam impartir el dissabte.

Since yesterday you can see the video that Catacraft made about the 3rd editon of La Fábrica Singular, I appear a moment during the amigurumi workshop.

Reis'13

Ja fa 4 dies que els reis van passar per casa, aquesta vegada van haver d'anar fins a Vilaseca perquè per primera vegada els vam celebrar a casa ma germana. Així que el 5 per la tarda vam anar cap allà, deprés de 2 hores intentant sortir de Barcelona i l'hora i mitja de camí vam arribar per la nit, sopar i anar a dormir d'hora. 

Four days ago the Three Kings came home, this time they had to change the route we were in Vilaseca because it was the first time that we celebreted it at my sister's home. So the 5th at the afternoon we went to, after two hours trying get out to Barcelona and one and a half hour journey we arrived at night, dinner and go bed early.

Haver canviat de casa no significa que ens vam despertar tard, no no, a les 7 ja estavem de peu per veure que ens havien deixat, vam xafardejar i després vam despertar als demés. La taula, un any més, estava plena de paquets.

Changing home doesn't mean that we woke up late, no no, at 7am we were standing up to see what they had left and then wake up the others. The table, once more, was full of packages.

Un cop tots de peu ens vam posar a obrir regals.

Once all wake up we opened gifts.

I més coses, com targetes regal, llibres, una agenda que ja tinc mig decorada, troqueladores, una fiambrera d'osito...

And more things, gift cards, books, a diary, a punch, a bear lunchbox...

I sobre les 11 van tornar a venir els reis i altre vegada la taula plena de paquets.

And at 11am the Three Kings came again and the table was full another time. 

 Entre aquest paquets hi havia unes Chie Miara, a l'estiu ja en vaig tenir unes i crec que vaig dir que no serien les últimes, són taaan còmodes.
Among these packages there was a Chie Miara, at summer I had ones and I thougth that I said that these pair wouldn't be the last ones, they are sooo comfortable.

Lo millor de tot va ser passar el dia amb la família i estar amb l'Àlex, que els meus reis li van portar un vestidet moníssim, i que li queda super bé, de Tiny Nice Things i un Mapache d'Andapanada.
The best thing it was spend the day wiht the family and to be with Àlex, my Three Kings brougth her a cute dress made by Tiny Nice Things and a Racoon made by Andapanda.

Aah! Al desembre va ser el meu cumple, si tinc tots els regals a la mateixa època, i em van fer un parell de regals que m'encanten, el primer va ser una màquina de cosir nova i també un curs per aprendre a fer-la servir.
Aah! In december it's my birthday, yes I have all the presents at the same time, they gave me a pair of presents that I love, the firts one it was a new sewing machine and a course to learn how to use it.

I l'altre regal que esperava amb moltes ganes va ser una miniatura de la Silvia Serra, un dia li he de dedicar una entrada, te una galeria d'art i antiguitats per morir-se i voler-ho tot.
And the other present that I wanted it was a miniature made by Silvia Serra, one day I've to dedicate her a post, she has an art and antiquities gallery, you just want to buy every thing.

L'amic invisible

Crec que va ser a finals de novembre quan vaig veure que la Saida, del blog Cuatro gatitos que somos, volia organitzar un amic invisible. Sense pensar-ho m'hi vaig apuntar, feia molt que volia participar en un intercanvi. El requisit per participar era que el regal fos fet a mà per  nosaltres.
I think it was at the end of november when I saw that Saida, from the blog Cuatro gatitos que somos, wanted to organize a Secret Santa. Without thinking I joined it, it was a long time that I wanted to participate in some exchange. The only requirement to participate it was that the gift was handmade by us.

Em va tocar enviar el regal a Asturias, a l'Eva del blog Opiniones incorrectas. Vaig preparar un clauer gatet i un monederet de ganxet i la caixeta la vaig decorar amb una mica de washitape.
I sent my present to Eva, from the blog Opiniones incorrectas. I made a keychain, an amigurumi cat, and a little crochet purse and I decoreted the box with washitape.

Dos dies després de Nadal em va arribar el meu regal, la meva amiga invisible va ser la mateixa Saida. Em va enviar un necesser de grannies, uns sabonets que fan una olor fantàstica i un llibre, El mundo sobre ruedas, és la historia d'un noi de 14 anys amb cadira de rodes que viatja sol pel mon.
Two days after chirstmas I recived my present, my secret Santa was Saida. She sent me a grannies bag, two small soaps that smell fantastic and a book.

 He tingut el blog una mica abandonat aquest dies, però aquesta setmana tornem a la normalitat :)
